Oral Pathology
Oral Pathology is a term encompassing any lesion in the soft or hard tissue of the mouth. This includes the bones of the jaws. Oral Surgery Associates is capable of managing these or referring you to appropriate physicians.
These are usually noted by your dentist or hygienist. Sometimes, however, it is something you, the patient, has been aware of. In either event, we understand your concern and will discuss the recommended treatment.
We feel comfortable discussing the need for a biopsy or managing it with close follow up. We will also work with your dentist or physician in the diagnosis.
We believe in the team concept. Therefore, everyone should be included in the management. Everyone at OSA will make you feel comfortable while in our care. Your questions are always welcomed.
